Book-Signing for “Postcard History Series: Hopkins County”
The Historical Society of Hopkins County will host a Book-Signing on Thursday, November 10 from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. for the new book Postcard History Series: Hopkins County compiled by Lisa D. Piper and the Historical Society of Hopkins County and published by Arcadia Publishing. The book will be available for $21.99 and consists of decades-old photos of the fantastic history of Hopkins County including Dawson Springs, Earlington, Hanson,Madisonville, Nebo, Mortons Gap and St. Charles. Showcased are glimpses of the coal mining industry, downtown memories, institutions, and leisure activities. Lisa Piper will be available to autograph each book.
In addition, Historical Society members will be available to interested patrons who would like to have a tour of the Historical Society Museum and Log Cabin and get a chance to see the 1911 Buick.
