The Historical Society of Hopkins County will hold its annual Christmas Potluck jointly with the Hopkins County Genealogical Society
on Thursday December 15, 2011 at the US Bank building meeting room. Please contact either society to make reservations and volunteer
to bring specific food items. 2012 Officers for both groups will be installed and there will be a special program in addition to the fine food and
fellowship.

Historical Society of Hopkins County 
Hi. My name is Matt Roland. My grandmother passed on this past summer and, as I was going through some of her belongings, I found two Madisonville, Kentucky telephone directories. One is dated October 1960, the other September 1957. I was curious as to whether or not your historical society would be interested in having them. I have gleaned all possible family history info from them that I could and no longer have a use for them. I would hate to recycle them if they could maybe be of use to someone else searching for their family. If you would like them, I’ll be happy to send them to you. Thanks!
