November 14 meeting and news about December

The Thursday November 14  meeting will be the Historical Society’s Annual Meeting.  There will be no speaker for the month, but will be the election of officers for 2014 and to hear about what has been done in 2013.  Hopefully, we will also have tours of the museum.  It is ALMOST ready.  What a process that has been, especially for us who are volunteers.

The Joint Potluck Christmas Dinner will be on Dec. 12 with Stephen Vest, editor of The Kentucky Monthly as the speaker.  It will be at the held jointly with the Genealogical Society of Hopkins County at the activities center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on North Main in Madisonville, KY.
