​On September 11th, the Historical Society of Hopkins County will have their annual picnic. It will be at the historic Porter home just west of Manitou on 41A beginning at 5p.m. Meat and drinks are provided by the Society. Attending members should bring a vegetable dish, a salad, or a dessert. Tommy and Kathleen will give us a tour of their home and we’ll learn a lot of history, and see some treasures.
