6:30 pm Meeting and program featuring Ben Chandler speaking on The Life and Times of Happy Chandler.

Meeting room is wheelchair accessible. Night entrance through East Entryway under old jail. Take elevator or stairs to 3rd floor and meeting room is on northwest corner nearest Center Street.

VP Randy Teague and Civil War Historian Ralph Mitchell will present “Preparing to meet Jeff Davis.”  

Joint meeting with the Genealogy Society on Saturday May 14, at 4pm, the two groups will sponsor Kentucky Humanities Council Chautauqua performer Kevin Hardesty as Jefferson Davis. 

Program at ampitheater or in case of rainbin club house. Bring your own comfortable lawn chair. Ice Cream will be provided.

Judy Bowles Adkins presents the women in Volume 6 after being introduced by President Donna Slaton who presented her with a red rose as the Society’s Notable Woman! Women in previous issues were also special guests and all in attendance are in photo below.

Phillip Ferrell to present “History of Ferrell’s Burgers,” with stories of his dad and brothers as he shares this iconic local business history!

The Life and Times of Dixie Logan will be shared by Horace Cox Jan 14 at 6:30 pm after the regular brief monthly meeting.
